Free Health Seminars

The Community Education department of L'Anse Creuse Public Schools has partnered with St. John Providence Health System to offer two free health seminars at the Frederick V. Pankow Center on Feb. 10 and March 10 from 9:45-10:45 am.

In February, St. John Hospital and Medical Center Diabetes Educator Ann Marie Schoenherr will show you how to “Treat Your Heart Well” by choosing the right treats. She will also give advice on maintaining blood sugar levels and much more.

In March, Physical Therapist Mark Eveningred leads the “Get Started in Spring With a Walking Program,” providing three simple steps to begin and maintain the program.

In conjunction with the health seminars, a discounted lunch of $1.50 is offered at the Creuse Café, a student-run restaurant within the Pankow Center, at 11 am.
