Important End-of-the-Year Dates for Macomb Township Middle Schools

School's out in less than a month, which means the next few weeks are packed with important dates for Seneca, Iroquois and L'Anse Creuse North middle school students and parents.

The next three weeks hold dozens of year-end activities for Macomb Township's middle school students.

Use this need-to-know roundup to keep track of the more important dates for , and middle schools, as well as Shelby Junior High.

Seneca Middle School

  • May 18: Progress reports go home with students
  • May 25-28: No school, Memorial Day recess 
  • June 7: Awards night
  • June 13: Last day, students dismissed at 11:10 a.m.
  • Week of June 18: Final report cards mailed home

Iroquois Middle School

  • May 18: Progress reports go home with students
  • May 25-28: No school, Memorial Day recess
  • May 31: Awards night
  • June 13: Last day, students dismissed at 11:10 a.m.
  • Week of June 18: Final report cards mailed home

L'Anse Creuse North

  • May 25-28: No school, Memorial Day recess
  • May 31: End-of-year awards assembly (moved from May 30)
  • June 6: Student-staff softball game; one hour early release
  • June 7: Half day, students dismissed at 11:20 a.m.
  • June 8: Last day of school, half day, students dismissed at 11:20 a.m.

Shelby Junior High

  • May 25-28: No school, Memorial Day recess
  • May 31: Ninth-grade honor's night
  • June 1: Seventh- and eighth-grade honor's assemblies
  • June 1: Shelby Pa-Looza  
  • June 10: Save Our Sports 5K
  • June 12-14: Half day, students dismissed at 11:12 am
  • June 14: Last day for all students
