Longtime Secretaries, Special Ed Teacher Retire from Chippewa Valley

Chippewa Valley Schools recognized the retirement of four longtime staff members Monday.

After more than 80 years of combined service to Chippewa Valley Schools, four longtime staff members had their retirements resolutions read and recognized by the school board Monday.

They include:

  • Carol Comilla, 25 years as an elementary principal secretary,
  • O.J. Forbes, 6 years as head custodian,
  • Janice Gunning, 26 years as a high school principal secretary,
  • Lisa Mannino, 26 years as a special education teacher, Algonquin Middle School

Although none of the retirees were present at Monday's meeting, board President George Sobah passed on his thanks for their years of service and "best wishes for a long retirement."
