Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Jordan is an eighth grader, who after being on the Immanuel Student Council for four years, is now Student Council President. His passion for leadership has him leaning toward a career in politics, religion or the U.S. Navy. He plays trumpet in Immanuel's Advanced Band, plays violin and is on Immanuel's varsity basketball team. He will also lead the eighth grade quiz bowl team in competition for Immanuel next month at the Lutheran Schools Talent Festival.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Jordan tries to succeed in everything he does. His teacher David Kirchhoff said the other kids look up to him with his natural leadership abilities.

"He's a natural leader and takes charge in all he does," Kirchhoff said.

Immanuel Principal Bob Christian feels the same way.

"Jordan demonstrates exceptional student leadership at Immanuel," he said. "He not only is willing to help in school improvement, but always sets an example for younger students and his peers in his academics, his extra-curricular activities and his faith walk. It has been a pleasure to work with him on the Immanuel Student Council."
