Whiz Kid's Key to Success: "Having a solid foundation is the best way to get through, especially a foundation of faith and family," Chaplin said. "God has blessed me with everything in my life, and He has been and is my Rock throughout my life. My family's support, too, has strengthened me to want to achieve everything I can. My mom, dad, brother, and Omi have all stood by me and encouraged me throughout every up, every down and everything in between. Without a firm foundation of faith and family, achievements aren't possible. You can't do it by yourself. Sure, you have to be determined to work hard to achieve your goals, but you need the support of those who love you to do it. I love God, and I love my family, and their love for me motivates me to achieve whatever I set my mind to do. My mom always tells me, 'Just do your best, and that's all you can do.' I want to prove to my family that I can give my best every time, knowing they'll still love and support me no matter what. Besides my Opa used to say, 'Keep your parents proud,' and that's exactly what I intend to do!"
