Cougars Defeat Rival Big Reds; Crusaders Cruise to Victory Over Fraser

Dakota and L'Anse Creuse North won their away games Oct. 12, and with one game left in the season, both teams are thinking playoffs.

It was a good night for football in Macomb Township, with both Dakota and L'Anse Creuse North's varsity teams bringing home victories. 

Dakota edged rival Chippewa Valley High School for the eighth-straight year, finishing the game 17-13 in Big Red territory and once again taking home the Superintendent’s Helmet Trophy. This win takes the team's season record to 7-1.

The Crusaders also saw victory, defeating Fraser 18-17 and bumping their season record to 6-2. 

Oct. 19 is the last game of the regular season for both teams.
