Crusaders Defeat Rival Lancers, Bring Home Armstrong Jug

A 19-14 victory over L'Anse Creuse High School Friday improved High School North's record to 4-2 and won the school bragging rights for the 2012-13 season.

The coveted John Denny Armstrong Jug returned to L'Anse Creuse North Friday, following the Crusaders' 19-14 win over the L'Anse Creuse High School Lancers.

As per tradition, the Armstrong Jug, named for L'Anse Creuse's first varsity football coach John Denny Armstrong, is awarded to the winning team of this district rivalry whereas the losing team leaves with the Thunder Pot, a bed pan.

This win takes the Crusaders' record to 4-2 and the Lancers' to 3-3.
