Crusaders Head Into Cougar Territory for Round 2 of State Football Playoffs

L'Anse Creuse North travels to Dakota High School for the MHSAA District Finals Nov. 2. Kick-off is 7 p.m. Find ticket information here.

Macomb Township will be divided tonight as Dakota High School and L'Anse Creuse North battle to remain in the MHSAA football playoffs.

The Cougars will have home-field advantage, but Crusader Nation has five years of hunger to satisfy. LCN last made it to the playoffs in 2007, losing to Dakota, 42-16.

Dakota knocked off its cross-town rival, Chippewa Valley High School, by a score of 17-7 on Oct. 26 to come out on top in the first round of the playoffs. On the other side of town, L’Anse Creuse North dealt a 35-21 defeat to the Romeo Bulldogs to capture their first postseason win in school history.
