Dakota's Hofmann to Play Volleyball at MCC

Hofmann helped lead Cougars to Class A state volleyball championship.

Leah Hofmann of Dakota High School has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Macomb Community College.

Hofmann earned first-team all-county and all-conference honors while helping Dakota win the Class A state championship in 2012 for Cougars coach Tracie Ferguson.

Hofmann also played three years for the Max Intensity Volleyball Club under Coach Melissa Criteser, according to a release from MCC.

Hofmann, who plans to study business in college, will play for MCC coach Holly Ritchie.
