An Evening of Fun for Families with Autistic Children

The Friends of Jacob Foundationis hosting a private swim event for families with children on the Autism spectrum on Saturday, Feb. 19, from 8-10 pm, at the Macomb Township Recreation Center. This event is free, and the goal is to give deserving families a night of fun at the pool and water park. Families will enjoy the pools, water slide, lazy river, wading pool, playscape, plus tables and chairs, family style changing rooms, lockers, and lifeguards on duty.

The Friends of Jacob Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization,has helped tri-county families through grants covering the cost of various forms of speech, social, and occupational therapy as well as various types of therapeutic equipment.
