Rec Center Offers Trip to See Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village

The Recreation Center is offering a trip to see the holiday lights display at Greenfield Village on Dec. 10. Everyone leaves the Marvin Blank Senor Center at 5 p.m., to see the old-fashioned Christmas traditions come to life at Greenfield Village, which includes ice skating (rentals available on site), authentically decorated homes, carriage and/or sleigh rides, carolers, musicians, live reindeer, Santa and Mrs. Claus, shopping and more. Concessions will be available and the evening concludes with a sing-along and fireworks.

Be sure to dress for the weather, and a flashlight isn't a bad idea, either, since most of the pathways are lit by lanterns and bonfires.

Macomb Township residents ages 13 and up pay $22, youth ages 5-12 pay $19, and children ages 4 and younger cost $5. Non-township residents pay $5 extra.
