VIDEO: Lady Cougars Edge Ramblers 38-35 with Last-Second Basket
A 3-pointer by Rio Dudgeon in the last seconds of the game gave Dakota the MAC Red win over Fraser Tuesday.
With a tied score and 5 seconds remaining in the game, a 3-pointer from 's Rio Dudgeon gave the Cougars the 38-35 edge they needed to defeat Fraser in Tuesday's MAC Red matchup.
With the win, the Dakota varsity girls' basketball team moved its season record to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in the MAC Red.
Kylie Churches led the Cougars' scoring with nine points, while both Dudgeon and Olivia Savage added six points of their own. Other scorers included Markela Snipes with five points and Kylie Townsley with four.
