LCN Wins MAC Blue Swim & Dive Championships
North team cruises past rival L'Anse Creuse by almost 60 points.
Almost 60 points ahead of the second place team, the boys swimming and diving team took home the MAC Blue Division Championship for 2011.
Rival high school L’Anse Creuse scored 274 to place second in the division and St. Clair High School took third with 241 points.
The North team of Ryan Vanpoppelen, Alex Marsack, Adis Jakupovic and Sebastian Rajewski logged first place finishes in the men's 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay with times of 1:43.70 (medley) and 1:33.87 (freestyle).

Jakupovic also had a standout showing in the men's 200-yard individual medley and men's 100-yard butterfly, posting final times of 2:03.33 and 54.65, respectively.
In the men's 50-yard freestyle, Vanpoppelen, Rajewski and Marsack took first, third and fifth places with scores of 23.15, 23.45 and 23.69, respectively.
