Macomb Woman Takes Detroit Lion Dominic Raiola to Court for Child Support

Andrea Yee, of Macomb Township, filed a lawsuit Dec. 13 against Dominic Raiola for child support, insurance payments, uninsured health care expenses, child care and attorney fees, according to court records.

A Macomb Township woman has sued Detroit Lions player Dominic Raiola for allegedly stopping some $16,500 in monthly child care and support payments for a child she claims he fathered in 2007, according to The Macomb Daily.

Andrea Yee, 40, of Macomb Township, filed a lawsuit Dec. 13 against the 33-year-old Raiola for child support, insurance payments, uninsured health care expenses, child care and attorney fees, according to Macomb County Circuit Court records.

Yee alleges that Raiola had been paying some $195,000 annually in child support payments since 2007, but stopped in November, The Macomb Daily reports.

Raiola currently lives with his wife and three children in West Bloomfield.

Yee, who has another child from a previous marriage, has full legal and physical custody of the child allegely fathered by Raiola, The Macomb Daily reports. Copies of the child's birth certificate and a written agreement between Yee and Raiola were submitted as exhibits in the lawsuit, according to court records.

Raiola started his career with the Lions in 2001 and currently plays center.
