School Board Honors Chippewa, Dakota Girls Swim and Dive Teams

The Chippewa Valley board of education presented the Chippewa Valley and Dakota high school girls swim and dive teams with certificates of recognition Nov. 7.

Boasting team championships, state qualifiers and possible All Americans, the Chippewa Valley and high school girls swim and dive teams have accomplished much this season.

The Chippewa Valley board of education recognized these accomplishments Nov. 7, awarding certificates of recognition to the more than two dozen Big Red and Dakota swimmers and divers in attendance.

"You are truly an exemplary group of young athletes," said Ron Roberts, Chippewa Valley superintendent. "You are the reason why people hold our school district in such high regard. Thank you for your dedication to your team and to each other, our entire school community can be proud of everything you have accomplished"
