In his third year of playing organized baseball, Kedrow, 8, and his Metro Stars team are enjoying great success. The team currently has an overall record of 28-3 and won both the Liberty Park Invitational and the Clio Firecracker Classic.

"Our team is doing amazing this year," Kedrow said. "I like being part of a team and helping them win. My teammates are fun to hang around with. They are really good baseball players and love playing as much as I do. We went camping together for five days and had a lot of fun. Their names are Lucas, Johnny, Nolan, Gabe, Joseph, Brett, Adam, Jay, Joey, Quentin and Nick."

Kedrow is quick to mention that his biggest fans are his mom, dad, brother Brandon and sisters Katelyn and Emily. Aside from winning his own trophies, he is proud to tell us that his family is sharing in the team's championships.

Little brother Brandon was awarded a trophy from the team for being the tournament bat boy and sister Emily received one on the day she was born as the team dedicated another tournament victory to her.

When asked how long he'll continue playing baseball, Kedrow replied, "Until I retire from the majors."
