CANCELLED: Special Game for L'Anse Creuse North Soccer

Senior night highlights LCN girls soccer team's contest against Grosse Pointe South.

The game might not have any significance for the girls soccer team at in the division standings.

With the season winding down, the race for the top spot in the Macomb Area Conference White is already decided–Anchor Bay is the champion.

However, Wednesday night’s game against Grosse Pointe South, at home, is a special one.

It’s senior night at the stadium, and this is a chance for the team’s departing players to say thank you to the fans, the program and the game.

It’s also a chance for these same folks–the fans–to say thank you to the seniors.

Emotionally charged and touching, a senior night contest is always one worth catching.

The game is slated to kick off at 5 p.m. Wednesday at L’Anse Creuse North.
