STATE CHAMPS: Dakota Boys Bowling Team Wins State Title
Dakota defeats Westland John Glenn in finals.
The boys bowling team won the Division 1 state championship with a 1331-1164 victory over Westland John Glenn on Friday at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek, according to the MHSAA website.
Shawn Worth bowled a 269 to lead Dakota and Mike Leskoviansky added a 197 for the Cougars.
Blake Nottle and Josh Pointer combined for a 189, Brad Berak and Jake Vymazal had a 160, and Nick Mikaelian and Frank Balsamo had a 145.
