Lip-Synching Guys' Michigan Road Trip Video Tour Plans East Side Stops

The tour will make more than 50 stops across the state for the Pure Michigan project next week.

Quick: You're road-tripping through Michigan and are headed to the East Side. What to do? Who to see?

Jeff Barrett and Rob Bliss are looking to figure it out as they embark on a weeklong road trip through the state and document their journey via video.

You may already know Barrett and Bliss from their popular Grand Rapids LibDub video, a tour of their hometown to the tune of "American Pie." (Watch the video above, or see it here.)

According to a blog post on Pure Michigan, the duo will create an "energetic digital video that highlights various things the state has to offer. The video will serve as a way to help tell the story of Michigan as a great place to live, work, play and build a business."

According to the report, it will all take place in an "Imported from Detroit" Chrysler vehicle.
