The Clinton-Macomb Public Library North Branch is one of three locations serving the more than 150,000 residents of Macomb Township and Clinton Township. The North Branch offers 14,000 square feet of books, movies, public computers and reading space, as well as meeting rooms for library programs and community events.

The library boasts more than 64,000 items in its collection. Librarians and administrators at the North Branch are continually experimenting with new concepts in an effort to better serve the local community. One result of this initiative has been the loaning of Kindles and LeapFrog Tag readers to the public. While only library card-carrying community members have access to the public desktop computers provided in the library, free WiFi is available to all library visitors.

The North Branch takes part in the Museum Adventure Pass program, which allows library users to "check out" free admission for two or four people at area museums, historical sites and art-based businesses. Some of the sites offered through this program include Arts and Scraps, the Cranbrook Institute of Science, the Detroit Children's Museum and the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House. Regularly scheduled programs and events can be found on the calendar on the library's website. However, North Branch programs are in high demand and spots fill up quickly, so visitors are encouraged to register early.
