Macomb Corners Park opened in the summer of 2004 on 94 acres along 25 Mile Road. One of the newest parks in Macomb Township, Macomb Corners features dozens of athletic fields, an on-site concession stand and a 1-mile walking path. The park is open from dawn to dusk from April 15 to the first snowfall. The asphalt walking path stretches 1 mile around the park, which includes two football fields, two soccer fields, three lighted baseball diamonds, an inline skating rink, a playscape, a picnic pavilion, a concession stand and restrooms. Open fires are not permitted on the premises, but grills are available near the picnic pavilion. The playground, which features swings, slides and a jungle gym, is built on soft turf and provides an extra cushion for its users. Pets are permitted in the park but must be kept on a leash. There is no alcohol allowed in the park, and smoking is strongly discouraged. Parking is free and readily available.
