Macomb Township's 2012 Winter Taxes are Due
Taxes are payable Dec. 1 through Feb. 14, 2013 without penalty. Late fees increased to 3 percent.
Did you receive your 2012 winter tax bill in the mail this weekend? If not, chances are good it’s probably on its way to your box. Winter taxes are payable from Dec. 1, 2012 through Feb. 14, 2013 without penalty in Macomb Township. After Feb. 14, a 3 percent late fee is assessed through Feb. 28, 2013. Last year, residents who failed to pay on time were charged a 1 percent late fee. As of March 1, all unpaid taxes are forwarded to the Macomb County Treasurer for payment.
