Biggby, a Lansing-based coffee chain, is offering $.99 tall hot and iced drinks Wednesday, March 20.
Biggby Coffee is another year older and will be celebrating its 18th birthday Wednesday with 99-cent tall, hot or iced drinks until 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 20. After 5 p.m., all drinks will be 50 percent off. In 1995, co-founders Bob Fish and Mary Roszel, opened the very first Biggby location in East Lansing, MI. The coffee chain now has 164 cafes open or under contract across six states in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas, according to Biggby. The Macomb Township Biggby is located at 18309 Hall Rd. Nearby, New Baltimore has welcomed a Biggby Coffee at 36540 Green Street in recent months.

That's right freebie fans, Biggby Coffee shops are passing out free swag today with every purchase, while supplies last. Rumor is its a sticker. The concept is simple. Macomb Township Biggby owner Sam Aleman now owns both Hall Road coffee shops.
Macomb Township Biggby owner Sam Aleman has added another piece of Hall Road real estate to his portfolio with the purchase of the Utica Biggby. Aleman bought the franchise from former owner Joe Butkovich last week. Butkovich launched the Utica store in 2008, but after more than four years in the business, the 29-year-old Washington Township resident told Patch he has decided to hang up his apron and set down the Caramel Marvels. "It was a learning experience for sure," he said of his experience in the business. "I learned a lot in the last three and a half years. I think it’s a good company. They’ll end up taking over the Midwest market and at least Michigan, and I think they’ll continue to grow." Butkovich assured his loyal Biggby fans …

From 100-ounce Butter Bears to short Americanos, hundreds of customers came through the Macomb Township Biggby Thursday to meet Bob Fish, the CEO and co-founder of Biggby Coffee, and enjoy free drinks of every size and flavor. Biggby Bob bought the drinks from 8-10 a.m. Thursday.
