Macomb Man Jailed on Child Porn Charges in Canada to Face Similar Counts at Home
Derek Thomas Milbocker, 25, will face 10 felony counts of possession of child sexually abusive material in Michigan.
A 25-year-old Macomb Township man who attempted to bring child porn into Canada in March 2012—and was sentenced to jail time there—has been extradited to face 10 similar charges in Michigan. Derek Thomas Milbocker was arraigned Wednesday in 41-A District Court in Shelby Township on 10 felony counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, each count punishable by up to four years in prison. His bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. The Sarnia Observer reported in October 2012 that Milbocker pleaded guilty in Sarnia, Ontario, to attempting to smuggle child pornography in Canada, possession of child pornography, and unlawfully importing child pornography at the Blue Water Bridge border crossing.
