Cheyenne Elementary Parent Banned from School After Lockdown, Charge Pending

Cheyenne Elementary parent faces disturbing the peace charge, ban from school grounds The Macomb Township resident whose actions, police say, led to the lockdown at Cheyenne Elementary School last week is now facing a charge of disturbing the peace and a ban from all school property. The school was put into lockdown Dec. 12 after administrators learned a suspicious person had entered the building. Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the individual was later identified as a parent who had entered the school through a side door, rather than the main entrance designated for visitors. “He knocked on the door but it was locked,” Wickersham said, in a previous interview with Patch. “Apparently kids came to the door, he threatened them …
