The Macomb-Shelby-Utica AYSO accepts soccer players age 4 to 18.
Parents who missed early registration for the Macomb region of the American Youth Soccer Organization have another chance to register their children Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at Dick's Sporting Goods in Utica. AYSO Region 459 serves Macomb Township, Shelby Township and Utica. The organization is now registering soccer players for the 2012-13 season. Region 459 offers programs for players age 4 (U-5) through age 18 (U-19). The season generally runs from early September through mid-October, takes a winter break, and then starts up again from mid-April through early June.
