Because of a recent change to Facebook's pages, Macomb Patch's news posts on the site are becoming visible to far fewer readers. There is a simple step to make sure you still get our updates in your news feed: Step 1: Navigate to Macomb Patch's Facebook page. Step 2: Click the button at the top of the page where it says "Liked." Step 3: Check "Show in news feed." And you're done! You can also follow Macomb Patch on Twitter.

Picture-Perfect Macomb: Share Your Favorite Photos of Our Town

We're updating our Facebook page and want to showcase your photos in our "timeline."

We all have a favorite photo backdrop around town. Whether it's a Sizzlin' Summer Concert at Town Center Park, the Strawberry Festival at St. Isidore Catholic Church or the sky after a rainstorm at Macomb Corners Park (where Patch reader Dennis Surdu captured this photo of a double rainbow), there are amazing settings everywhere you look in Macomb Township. We want to show them off. Much like we did during our Patch of Michigan photo contest last summer, we want to compile a gallery of favorite photos from Macomb Township. What's Happening at the Township Meeting Tonight?

The township board of trustees meets at 7 p.m. today. If you can't make the meeting, here's a quick overview of the agenda. Stay with Patch to find out how the board voted on these and other items.

The board of trustees meets tonight at 7 in the Town Hall, located off 25 Mile Road. Residents will have two opportunities during the meeting to share their opinion on items listed on the agenda and in regard to other issues in their community.
