Nearly all Macomb Township residents will see their trash collection delayed a day due to the New Year's holiday. There will be no rubbish collection or recycling on New Year's Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1. Because of this, all normally scheduled pickups from Tuesday through Thursday will be delayed by one day. Residents schedueld for Monday pickups will not be affected. These are primarily residents in the area west of Romeo Plank and south of 23 Mile Road.
With no Christmas or New Year's Day collection, trash and recycling pickup will be pushed back one day for those with Tuesday-Friday times.
