More orange barrels will clutter our major thoroughfares this weekend and into next week. Here's a look at the sections you may want to avoid. I-94 Eastbound and westbound I-94 will have single and double lane closures between Shook Road and M-59 from 9 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday for maintenance work. Eastbound and westbound I-94 will also have a single lane closed between 23 Mile and County Line roads from 9 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday for ongoing road work. M-29 (23 Mile Road) Northbound and southbound M-29 between Baker and County Line roads will have a single lane closure from 8 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday for utility work. Both sides of Hall Road and stretches of I-94 north of 23 Mile Road will be under construction this weekend and through next week.

Hall Road: Van Dyke to Hayes Two lanes will be closed on eastbound Hall Road from Van Dyke Avenue to Hayes Road from 9 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Tuesday for pavement repair. Both sides of Hall Road will be under construction this weekend, with eastbound sections closing Sunday and westbound sections remaining closed Saturday night through Tuesday morning.
If you're planning to drive Hall Road or I-94 this weekend, brace yourself for multiple lane closures, or plan detours in advance. Van Dyke to Hayes The right two lanes of eastbound Hall Road will be closed from Van Dyke to Hayes from 9 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Tuesday for pavement repairs.
