Macomb Township Man Dies in Rollover Crash
The two-vehicle crash took place Tuesday in Oakland County when a traffic light was not functional, according to police.
A 44-year-old Macomb Township man was pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover accident Tuesday night in Pontiac, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. At approximately, 7:13 p.m., the traffic light at the intersection of northbound Woodward and University was not powered, witnesses told the Sheriff's Office. At that time, a 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup heading westbound on University and a 1998 Lexus ES 300 traveling northbound on Woodward drove through the intersection without stopping, the Sheriff's Office stated in a news release.
