Township OKs New Funeral Home to be Built North of Randazzo Fresh Market
Macomb Township authorized its legal counsel June 13 to sign a consent judgment that will allow Carriage Funeral Services of Michigan to build a funeral home on Hayes Road.
Macomb Township recently approved plans that will allow a funeral home to be built north of Randazzo Fresh Market on Hayes Road. The property is currently owned by Carriage Funeral Services of Michigan, and a Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home is expected to be built on the site in the near future. Township trustees authorized township attorney Lawrence Dloski on June 13 to sign the consent judgment that will allow construction to move forward. The property was previously developed for a shopping center, but plans were never finalized and the property sold to Carriage. Macomb Township is currently home to two other funeral homes–Hauss and Lee-Ellena, both off Romeo Plank Road. The new funeral home will be built on the southeast corner of …

Always welcome to more business ... however, driving yesterday (Wednesday) at 5:30PM revealed the Southbound lane of Hayes backed up from LaFata Cabinets to the light at 22 Mile. This is a regular ocurance. Makes for the question of Hayes Road being ready for added traffic?? Ask anyone that shops at Randazzo looking to exit the parking lot. more ›
