Starting Thursday, Starbucks will be offering a more eco-friendly way to enjoy their coffee According to the Detroit Free Press, the coffee giant will begin selling reusable cups on Jan. 3 in an attempt to reduce the waste created by customers purchasing millions of beverages every day—and throwing their cups away. The cups will retail for $1 and fill up to a grande size of a cup of joe. Each refill in a reusable cup—be it one of the new tumblers or another Starbucks mug—earns the user a dime off their purchase. The cups have already debuted on the west coast, but will hit all Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada—including Clinton Township's store in The Mall at Partridge Creek—on Thursday.
