Bachelor Sean Lowe is Coming to Metro Detroit

You can catch the latest star of ABC's "The Bachelor" at Suburban Collection Showplace.

Will you accept this rose? Fans of ABC's The Bachelor will have the chance to meet latest bachelor Sean Lowe at the Michigan International Women's Show at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi on Friday, May 3 at 1 p.m. Lowe will tell the story of how he fell in love with Catherine, their plans for their upcoming wedding and his experiences on Dancing With The Stars. The bachelor will only be at the show on Friday, but other realty stars will also be making appearances throughout the weekend. On Saturday, Jessica Robertson from A&E’s reality series Duck Dynasty will answer questions about being married to the youngest Robertson son, Jep, and about her four children: Lily, Merritt, Priscilla, and River. Macomb Township Resident Shares Her Pick for 'The Bachelor' Sean Lowe

Ashley Palenkas, a Macomb Township resident who was a contestant this season, shares her choice for winner of Monday night's season finale of "The Bachelor" on ABC.

A Macomb Township resident says she certainly has a favorite bachelorette on the love 'em and leave 'em ABC hit, "The Bachelor". Monday at 8 p.m., we'll find out whether Catherine Giudici or Lindsay Yenter wins Dallas native Sean Lowe's heart during the reality show’s season finale. “Definitely Catherine is my favorite. She’s my top pick,” said Ashley Palenkas, 28, who is also a bartender at Fifth Avenue in downtown Royal Oak. Macomb County Native Bounced from 'The Bachelor': Update

A local resident took her shot at Bachelor Sean Lowe's heart in the new season of the reality dating show airing Monday night.

UPDATED 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Ashley Palenkas of Macomb Township did not make the cut on the first episode of the new season of "The Bachelor" on Monday night. Her provocative dancing and obsession with "Fifty Shades of Grey" didn't seem to impress Sean Lowe during the first cocktail party and rose ceremony. I was SO excited to see a hometown girl on a national show....until I saw how weird and drunk she acted ! On a first meeting, you pull out a tie and start talking about Fifty Shades of Gray? ABC To Hold Casting Call for 'The Bachelor' in Novi

The network is looking for men and women for season 17 of the TV show.

ABC will be in Novi on June 14 to look for men and women to be on season 17 of the hit show The Bachelor. Men and women who are interested in finding true love on the show can go to the casting call at Tin Fish, located at Twelve Oaks Mall, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can also apply or nominate someone online or via mail. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. The casting website says the show is looking for men and women with charm, style and personality. The TV executives are having more than a dozen casting calls across the country within the next two months, but this is the only one planned in Michigan.
