UPDATED: AT&T Wireless Phone Service Outage in Southeast Michigan
Call me maybe? An AT&T cellular outage left many customers in the lurch Monday morning.
Updated at 10:40 a.m. Wireless phone service was unavailable for AT&T customers Monday morning in southeast Michigan, but returned for some around 10:30 a.m. [Leave a comment if you've been affected!] "We are currently investigating the source of the outage and will have more information later today regarding the number of customers affected," AT&T senior public relations manager Jermaine Spight said. "The outage is affecting the ability to place and received calls on customers' mobile devices, however, they are able to text and access data services such as mobile Internet," he said.

If you call 1-800-331-0500 and ask to speak to a customer service representative, you should be entitled to a credit on your account as compensation. I got a nice sum for the inconvenience. more ›
