Tired of Basketball? Comcast Offers Free Catch-Up of Popular Shows

Comcast is giving its Xfinity television customers free access to a number of shows from March 25-31 during "Watchathon Week."

Comcast customers who are tired of wall-to-wall basketball coverage can escape hoop-mania with Xfinity's Watchathon Week. For one week customers Comcast customers in Macomb Township and across Macomb County will be able access series including Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Dexter, Girls, Spartacus and Duck Dynasty, along with seasons of shows including  Mad Men, Revolution, The Walking Dead and Chicago Fire. “The scale of Xfinity Watchathon Week is enormous,” said Maggie Suniewick, Vice President, Video Services, ComcastCable, in a release. “This will be the biggest catch-up ever in TV history, offering Xfinity TV customers the opportunity to binge view the hottest shows on top networks for free. Red Wing Alum, Paws, Take Part in Celebration of Macomb's New Xfinity Center

Former Detroit Red Wing Tomas Homstrom, Tigers mascot Paws and others will take part in grand opening celebrations at the new Xfinity customer center in Macomb Township.

Comcast will hold a grand opening celebration with a former Red Wing and the Tigers mascot Satruday at the new 3,600 square-foot Xfinity customer center in Macomb Township. Former Detroit Red Wing Tomas Homstrom and Tigers mascot Paws will participate in the festivities at the center which allows Comcast customers to pay a bill, service their equipment and interact with new products and services. The celebration runs from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Xfinity Customer Center at 17613 Hall Road, Macomb Township. Festivities include:

Comcast Opens New Xfinity Customer Center in Macomb Township

Comcast has opened an interactive 3,600-square-foot Xfinity Customer Center in Macomb Township. The facility, which is the company's second customer center in Macomb County, is the first of its kind in Michigan.

Comcast opened a new Xfinity Customer Center in Macomb Township on Monday that allows customers to pay bills, exchange equipment but also experience the company's products on iPads, laptops and large-screen televisions. The new 3,600-square-foot facility is located at 17613 Hall Road and utilizes technology to serve customers. Inside the center there is a self-service kiosk to pay bills, an electronic queuing system for check-in, along with displays of 3D cable service, iPad apps and the company's home security system. These features are set in a comfortable seating areas that feature sofas and chairs set around the informational kiosks.
