The Metro Detroit area has always loved a great film's release and the Christmas 2012 season should again prove fruitful. From Trenton to Fenton, film audiences in recent years have adored Meet the Fockers, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, among others. Local movie-goers can catch this year's Christmas Day releases at theaters in Clinton Township (MJR Partridge Creek and AMC Star Gratiot 21), Sterling Heights (AMC Forum 30 and MJR Marketplace) and Chesterfield (MJR Chesterfield Crossing). What's Your All-Time Favorite Holiday Movie, Macomb Township?

It's the time of the year for decorations, gift shopping and 24-hour marathons of "A Christmas Story." What will you be watching?

Whether it's ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas, or your own collection of VHS tapes from Christmas past, everyone has their holiday favorite for the silver screen. Whether you're a classic fan, opting for films like It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street, or a comedy junkie, preferring Elf and The Santa Clause, when it comes down to it, there's always that one film you favor above all others.  Whatever your holiday viewing pleasure, share it here with other Macomb Township Patch readers by taking the poll or adding a comment below.
