I'm a single Mom of two wonderful children who keep me very busy. They have hit the high school years so I spend my days getting them off to school, attending after school sports, being a band booster, cheering for my varsity hockey player and trying to fit some sleep time in for myself. On top of that, I run my own business along with being a Patch freelancer.

Having worked in the publishing industry since I graduated from WMU way back when, I have written articles and news releases, sold advertising and handled Marketing/PR/Graphic Design for organizations and businesses in southeast Michigan, the last 20 years with my business - Studio Communications. On top of that I'm now the Executive Editor/Creative Designer for Macomb Now Magazine.

I love being involved in the community and find myself very entrenched in the Chippewa Valley schools. I'm even the Communications Director for the Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise and can be seen driving my '65 Mustang Convertible around town during the warmer months.
